Bob Wickman has to be one of the most underrated Indians in recent years. Though it seems hard to believe an argument can be made that he is the best closer in the history of Cleveland Indians baseball. Last night Wickman tied Doug Jones for the most saves in Indian history. I'll admit that the save is an overrated statistic but that should not take away from Wickman's accomplishments. In the years that he has not been injured he has posted ERA's of 3.38, 2.39, and 2.47. Although he might not look like a baseball player and tends to put runners onbase in the 9th inning, save for one dominant season by Jose Mesa in 1995, I would not want another Indian to close out a ballgame.

Personally, I cant take my eyes off of him. He is so incredible and his presence on the mound is wonderful. This portly pitcher makes me watch the game.
Mr. Wickman is someone i love to watch. I dont even follow the indians...but i most certainly follow him....or try to at all cost.
have to agree with everyone...scanning the channels and WOW...there he was on the mound...thrusting his body into the pitch....he is an old fashion pitcher that demands attention. would not like to bat against him....but would ABSOLUTELY like a night out with him!
